MARY L. PERRY, age 76 years of Delta, PA died on Monday, April 4, 2016 at York Hospital.

Mrs. Perry was born in Washington, DC on August 18, 1939 a daughter of the late George E. and Margaret (Burton) Donaldson. She was the widow of Charles I. Perry, Jr; married for 49 years until his death in 2009.

Mrs. Perry was an active member of the Delta Senior Center, her apple dumplings were always part of the Senior Center festivals. She enjoyed crocheting and donated her time and talent to Stitches of Hope where she made blankets for trauma patients. Mary's home was the place for all of the family gatherings and celebrations; her love for her family was never-ending. She will always be remembered for her generous spirit and unconditional love.

Six grandchildren:

Jason Armstrong, Roger Lee Matthews, Jr., Kayla Matthews, Linsey Matthews, Dewey Matthews, III and Daniel Matthews

Five great grandchildren: Emaleigh Matthews, Analynn Matthews, Kalie Armstrong, Jase Matthews and Ryan Armstrong

Friends may call at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA on Wednesday evening, April 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Marie L. Sipler, Certified Celebrant officiating. Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, located at the corner of Line and Griffith Roads, Delta, PA.
