Mary A. Sexton, age 64 years of Darlington, MD died on Friday, Oct. 30 at University of Maryland Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard A. Sexton. They celebrated their 46th anniversary on July 19.

Mary was born on March 6, 1945 in Honaker, Virginia a daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Hess) Belcher. She was a 1963 graduate of North Harford High School. Mary was a member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church where she was the song leader. She loved spending time with her grandchildren , sewing and working in her flower garden.

Amy Phillips and her husband Steve of Port Deposit, MD

6 grandchildren- Nicholas Dowell, Ramsey and Reagan Sexton, Caleb, Gabriel and Isaac Phillips.

3 sisters- Lucy Boyd of Fawn Grove - Lilly Blackburn of Colora, MD and Valerie Adkins of Darlington, MD

2 brothers- Harold Belcher of Darlington, MD and Melvin Belcher of Perryville, MD

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 11 AM at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church, 3414 Cedar Church Road, Darlington, MD with her pastor - Pastor Chris Karschner officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, Nov 2 from 6-9 PM at the church. Burial will be at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
