MARY C. WHITEFORD, age 99 years of Pylesville, Maryland died at her home on Monday, May 25, 2009. She was the wife of Walter S. �Fox� Whiteford who died on May 27, 1977.

Born in Pylesville on November 28, 1909, she was the last surviving child of the eight children born to John E. and Mary C. (Wright) Webster. A lifetime resident of Harford County, she was a graduate of Highland High School. Mary was considered a 'spitfire' and 'quick witted'. She loved animals, gardening and crocheting. She attended the Highland Senior Center and was declared a Harford County Living Treasure. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and was a devout Catholic and a Godly woman.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1021 St. Mary�s Road, Pylesville, MD.

Reverend A. Henry Kunkel, III will be the celebrant.

Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
