MELANIE K. DYKE, age 57 years, died on Monday, January 30, 2012 in her home in Delta, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of William M. Dyke with whom she had shared 36 years of marriage.

Born on May 30, 1954 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of Kathryn (Lilly) Manner and the late Albert P. Manner. Moving from Edgewood, MD, Mrs. Dyke had lived in Delta for the past 27 years. She was an active member of the Fawn Grove Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Crediting her faith and religion, she had developed a talent to resolve health problems for her friends and family. Mrs. Dyke had worked as a resident assistant for the Pen-Mar Human Resources, an assisted living corporation, in Freeland, MD. Mrs. Dyke enjoyed drawing and spending time with her family.

A sister, Bonnie Krell and her husband, John of Prince Frederick, MD

Paul Manner and his wife, Shirley of Bel Air, MD

Richard Manner and his wife, Barbara of Baltimore, MD

Two grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fawn Grove Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 987 Brown Road, New Park, PA.
