MICHAEL PAUL MITCHELL, age 25 years, died on Friday, February 27, 2009 in his home in Street, Maryland.

Born on June 24, 1983 in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he was the son of Penny (Ewing) Kane of Felton, Pennsylvania and Ricky A. Mitchell of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Before moving from Perryville, Maryland, he attended the First Baptist Church and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #135. He had lived in Street for the past ten years and was employed as a construction worker.

A musician, he was a member of "THE QUARRY BAND" of Rocks, Maryland. He enjoyed raising beef cattle and spent many enjoyable moments with his faithful dog, Bubba.

Maternal grandparents, Ruth and Carl Ewing of Perryville, Maryland

Step-father, Leo M. Kane of Felton, Pennsylvania.

Step-grandfather, Leo A. Kane of Brogue, Pennsylvania

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM with a memorial service beginning at 7:30 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.
