MILDRED V. HOPKINS, age 90 years, died on Friday, August 31, 2012 in her home in Whiteford, Maryland. She was the wife of James B. Hopkins who died on May 24, 1991.

Born on December 22, 1921 in Street, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late James Wilbur and Ella (Kennedy) Bosley and an active member of Emory United Methodist Church. A homemaker, she enjoyed making wine and had crafted the art of chair caning.

She is survived by:

A devoted son, James B. Hopkins of Whiteford, Maryland

A brother, Charles Bosley of Street, Maryland

A sister, Ruth Jones of Street, Maryland

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Emory United Methodist 911 Cherry Hill Road, Street, Maryland with her minister, Pastor Brian Shockey officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

Interment will be in Emory Cemetery, Street, Maryland.
