Obituary

JAMES ALEXANDER BURACZYNSKI, age 46 years, died on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. He was the husband of Virginia Lynn (Dockeney) Buraczynski with whom he had shared 23 years of marriage.

Born on May 3, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son of Rebecca (Ladd) DiNuoscio of Bel Air, Maryland and the late Edward A. Buraczynski. Residing in Delta, Pennsylvania, he had moved from Grand Forks, North Dakota approximately 14 years ago. Master Sergeant Buraczynski was currently serving as an analyst with the 175th Maintenance Operation Flight - a division of the 175th Wing of the Maryland Air National Guard. Master Sergeant Buraczynski had a distinguished military career spanning over 23 years.

He was a member of the NRA, Freedom Armory and the American Legion Post #455 of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania. Master Sergeant Buraczynski was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by:

Three Children-Senior Airman James Alexander Buraczynski, II serving with the Air National Guard

Lynsey Ellen Buraczynski and Christian David Buraczynski, of Delta, Pennsylvania

A sister, Cheryl Fisher and her husband, Patrick of Bel Air, Maryland

His mother's husband, William DiNuoscio of Bel Air, Maryland

A step-brother, Robert Thompson of North Bethesda, Maryland

Numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, the 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, 786 Mt. Olivet Church Road, Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania. Full military honors will be presented. His minister, Pastor Dennis L. McCleary will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate memorial contributions to The Maryland National Guard Foundation Emergency Relief Fund C/O (Retired Senior Master Sergeant) Bill Miller, 1 Bonbon Court, Reisterstown, MD 21136.
