Myrtle Viola Morris, 77, of Conowingo, MD, died on Friday, August 9, 2021, at ManorCare Health Services-York South. She was born on April 13, 1944 in Delta, PA to her late parents, Thomas Benjamin Waters and Maude Evelyn (Thomas) Waters and spent her whole life living in the area. Mrs. Morris had been married to the late Walter B. Morris, Jr. who died in July of 2002.

Mrs. Morris graduated from Kennard-Dale High School in 1962 and chose her career as a school bus driver, employed with Harford County Public Schools for greater than 25 years. She loved the Lord and attended New Covenant Community Church of Delta, PA.

Myrtle is survived by four children: Steven B. Morris (Deanna), of Springfield, VA; Debbie Wilkinson of Benton, AR; Bryan Morris, of Delta, PA and Robin Friend (Chuck), of Conowingo, MD. In addition to her children, Myrtle is survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Lois Davis, Lee Waters and Ernie Waters.

A visitation will be held from 12-1 PM on Friday August 13, 2021 at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA 17314. A funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 1 PM with Pastor Rod Anderson, of New Covenant Community Church officiating. Interment will follow in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, PA.
