NANCY JEANETTE WATSON, age 80 years, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in her home in Delta, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of the late James R. Watson who died on June 5, 2008.

Born on March 16, 1931 in Jefferson City, Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Samuel M. and Marion (Rowan) Manifold. She had been a lifetime resident of the Delta/Airville area of York County and a member of Slateville Presbyterian Church in Delta.

Mrs. Watson had been employed by Aberdeen Proving Ground for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her family. Her dog, Molly was a faithful companion.

She is survived by:

Three children-

Susan Sanders and her husband, Norman of Owings, Maryland

James Watson of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania

Thomas Watson of Delta, Pennsylvania

Two grandchildren-

Shannon Sanders and Lauren Poe, both of Owings, Maryland

Four great grandchildren-

James, Samantha, Riley and Jarrett, also of Owings.

Two step-grandchildren-

Terese and Joey Sanders, both of Clearwater, Florida

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 1 to 2 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. at her church, Slateville Presbyterian, 308 Slateville Road, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Her minister, Reverend Carletta R. Curley will officiate.

A private inurnment will be held with her family.
