Nancy Lorraine Wheeler, age 88, of York, PA, passed away on June 27, 2026, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home.

Nancy, the beloved daughter of the late Frank T. Wheeler and Florence E. Wheeler (née Smith), was born on May 12, 1938, in Phoenix, MD. She grew up in Baltimore's Hamilton neighborhood and graduated with honors from Eastern High School in 1956. In addition to the Baltimore area, she spent time living in Cockeysville, MD, Virginia Beach, VA, and Delta, PA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Ann Bosch, and is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Richard, who provided much love, care, and comfort during Nancy's final days.

Nancy was an avid reader and artist, a lover of animals, and an accomplished calligrapher. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant at several law firms and real estate agencies. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her four nephews and seven great-nieces and great-nephews grow up.

You are not forgotten, loved one, nor will you ever be; as long as life and memory last, we will remember thee. We miss you.

The family will be holding a private gathering to celebrate Nancy's life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
