NANNIE LEE SEXTON age 92 years of Darlington, MD died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on Sunday, June 26. She was the wife of the late Doughton Porter Sexton who died on April 7, 1994.

Mrs. Sexton was born on Sept. 30, 1912 at Chilhowie, Virginia a daughter of the late Caloway and Malinda (Haga) Pennington. She retired in 1973 from McCorquodale Process Company in Whiteford, Maryland where she worked for many years. She previously worked at the former Daneker Clock Factory in Benson. Mrs. Sexton was a member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by 6 sons:

Kyle E. Sexton of Marion, Virginia

Robert E. Sexton of Rising Sun, Maryland

John W. Sexton of Darlington, Maryland

Richard A. Sexton of Darlington, Maryland

Bruce T. Sexton of Street, Maryland

Jeffery W. Sexton of Street, Maryland

2 daughters:

Grace Blevins of Darlington, Maryland

Emma L. Testerman of Conowingo, Maryland

Also survived by:

30 Grandchildren 3 step grandchildren 53 great grandchildren 6 great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Fred D. Sexton in 1984 and Harold A. Sexton in 1986 and 1 great grandson Jeremy Sexton in 2002.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church, 3414 Cedar Church Road, Darlington, Maryland on Friday, July 1, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Amos Richardson, Rev. Mark Rudd and Rev. Chris Karschner

Visitation with the family will be held at the church on Thursday evening from 6-9PM

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, Maryland
