NORMA LEE ANN MATTHEWS, 81, of Bel Air, MD passed in her home on April 19, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas O. Matthews and at the time of his passing in 2008, they were married for 52 years.

A love for the Lord, Norma was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Bel Air, MD. A devoted homemaker, she was well known for her homemade peanut butter fudge. A love for the outdoors, Norma enjoyed snowmobiling and camping. Some additional pastimes of hers were spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and playing BINGO with her friends.

A wonderful, loving mother and nana, her family commented she was a "great women with a kind soul."

12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren

A sister-in-law, Libby Wildason of Bel Air, MD

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10 to 11 at Calvary Baptist Church, 206 Courtland Place, Bel Air, MD 21014 immediately followed by her memorial service. Senior Pastor, Dr. Larry Hoyle will be officiating. Reverend Ken Tipton will be offering the musical ministry. All are welcomed to join the family for a luncheon afterwards in the church social hall. There will be no public inurnment.
