Oleta S. Snodgrass, age 95 years of Street, Maryland died on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of the late J. Thomas Snodgrass who died on August 22, 1994.

Mrs. Snodgrass was born on June 10, 1916 in Darlington, Maryland a daughter of the late H. Clinton and Grace (Kelly) Scarborough. She was a member of Emory United Methodist Church and had been active in the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Snodgrass enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening and playing bridge.

She is survived by 4 children- Edmund C. Snodgrass and his wife Lucie of Street, Maryland

Susan Case and her husband Samuel of Westminster, Maryland

Eleanor Van Dyke and her husband Roger of Cambridge, Maryland

Sarah Morris and her husband James of Street, Maryland

10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son J. Thomas Snodgrass Jr.

Funeral service will be on Friday, October 21 at 1:00 PM at Emory United Methodist Church, 911 Cherry Hill Road. Street, Maryland with Pastor Brian Shockey officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren- Karen McClure- Snodgrass, Jeffrey Snodgrass, Lauren Case, Sarah Case, Elizabeth Horton, Thomas Van Dyke, Jennifer Harden, Emily Morris, Timothy Snodgrass and Graham Snodgrass.
