Oscar Wayne Adams, 81, of Jarrettsville, MD, died peacefully at Seaton Springwood, York PA, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Oscar was born in Rocks, MD, to his late parents, Earl T. and Hassie M. (Mink) Adams. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Jean (Jacobson) Adams.

Oscar loved music was a talented musician, playing both the piano and the guitar. He was a singer in the group "Adams Gospel Singers" with his brothers. He worked as a recording engineer in a studio that he owned. There, he recorded with many talented musicians. In his spare time, he enjoyed attending gospel music concerts with his family and working with wood and leather. He loved the Lord and was a staunch conservative.

In addition to his wife, Oscar is survived by his sons; Gregg D. Adams and his wife, Pamela J., of Leesburg, GA and Bradley K. Adams, of Airville, PA. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Bradley K. Adams and his wife, Kathleen and Amber N. Hull and her husband, Jeremy and his great grandchild, Nathaniel B. Adams. In addition he is survived his brothers, Robert J. Adams, Earl J. Adams, Allen J. Adams, Phillip G. Adams and one sister, Thelma Stamper.

In addition to his parents, Oscar was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Hensley, Jean Mulligan, Estelle Little and Senia Phillips.

A viewing will be held at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA, on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm and will be officiated by Pastor James Baldwin of Woodbine Believers Assembly. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD.
