PANSY A. MEREDITH, age 79 years, died on Sunday, August 12, 2012 in her home in Street, Maryland. She was the wife of Richard D. Meredith, with whom she had shared nearly 45 years of marriage.

Born on January 15, 1933 in Lewisburg, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late James A. and Virginia P. (Harvey) Sampson. Mrs. Meredith had resided in Street, having moved from East Point, Maryland approximately 42 years ago. A homemaker, she was a member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Bobbie Jo Ayres and her husband, Robert of Street, Maryland

Debbie Lederer and her husband, Duane of Middle River, Maryland

David Meredith and his wife, Melanie of Delta, Pennsylvania

Eric Meredith of Portland, Oregon

Eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, services will be private.
