PATSY ANN HAM, 68 years of Forest Hill, MD, died on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born on September 18, 1948 in Lansing, NC, she was a daughter of the late Walter Blaine and Esther Lee (Blackburn) Ham.

Patsy was a 1966 graduate of Bel Air High School and had worked as a civil service employee for her entire career. Starting with service at the former Bainbridge Naval Base in Port Deposit, MD, she continued with Edgewood Arsenal as a Surety and Security Specialist. She and her late sister, Judy shared a very tight sibling bond, working in civil service together and actually both retiring on the May 1, 2008. Patsy had over 37 years of dedicated service in her career.

Patsy was known as a loving and caring individual, devoted to her family. She hosted tea parties for her nieces with much attention to details, enjoyed shopping with family members and found great pride in caring for others. She loved to read and worshipped at Valley Baptist Church in Bel Air, MD. She was quite fond of her cat, Fluffy Louise.

Gary L. Ham and his wife, Teena of Charleston, SC

Anthony C. Ham and his wife, Tammy of Delta, PA

Loving nieces and nephews-Walter, Kelly, Stephanie, Emily, Jessica and Blaine as well as her great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Richard Allen Ham, Larry David Ham and Judy Caroline Ham.

Services will be held in North Carolina with the Boone Family Funeral Home, West Jefferson, NC.
