PAULINE V. JONES, age 95 years of Street, Maryland, died at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation on Saturday evening, March 7, 2009. She was the wife of William McKinley Jones who died on June 18, 1978.

Born on July 10, 1913 in Peach Bottom Township, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Ella Hopkins. She was a seamstress working for the former Fawn Grove Manufacturing Company, retiring with more than twenty years of service in 1975. She was a longtime member of the Evangelical Methodist Church in Street, Maryland.

She is survived by:

A daughter, Mabel M. Smithson of Street, Maryland

Three grandsons-

James Smithson, Charles William Smithson and Robert Smithson.

Numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren

A brother, Arthur Hopkins of Athens, Georgia

She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Mary Virginia Smithson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 11: 00 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Her pastor, Reverend Dr. John E. McKnight will officiate.

Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Visitation with her family will be held one hour prior to the funeral from 10 - 11 AM at the funeral home.
