PERRY P. KAUFFMAN, age 71 years, died on Sunday, July 20, 2014 in his home in Delta, PA. He was the husband of Linda A. (Pomraning) Kauffman with whom he had celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary this past April 27th.

Born on May 26, 1943 in the Chanceford Township area of York County, PA, he was a son of the late Paul Preston and Viola Mae (Reichard) Kauffman. Graduating from the Red Lion Area High School in 1961, Mr. Kauffman was a part time farmer and had worked as a carpenter with Carpenter's Local #1595 for 19 years when he retired in August of 2000. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church of Delta and enjoyed times spent in the outdoors, especially at their cabin in Potter County. Mr. Kauffman was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Philip P. Kauffman of Wrightsville, PA

Porter P. Kauffman and his wife, Hilda of Delta, PA

Seven grandchildren – Chris, Matthew, Christina, Joey, Matt, Nicholas and Kylie

Four great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a brother, Preston P. Kauffman.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will begin on Thursday morning at 11 a.m.

Mr. Richard Sharrock, C.L.M. of Salem United Methodist Church, will officiate with interment in Salem Church Cemetery, Delta, PA.
