R. ELLEN REHEARD, age 87 years, of Airville, Pennsylvania died on Friday, February 1, 2008 at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Ernest M. Reheard who died on October 30, 2001.

Mrs. Reheard was born on June 15, 1920 in Greenbriar County West Virginia a daughter of the late John R. and Lucy (Sparks) Boothe. She had worked at numerous local canning houses, offered care in patient's homes and later kept veterans in her home for twenty-three years. She was a member of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed cooking, yard sales and was a loving mother.

She is survived by:

Pearl L. Holloway and husband, Clyde; Verna E. Holmes and husband, Dana; James W. Reheard and wife, Yimi (Mrs. Reheard's daily caregiver) all of Airville, Pennsylvania

Robert J. Reheard and wife, Jane of Sandusky, Ohio

Kathy K. Wilkinson of Brogue, Pennsylvania

Daughter-in-law, Marion Reheard of Thomasville, Pennsylvania

Eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren

A sister, Monnie Love of Battle Creek, Michigan

A brother Oakie Booth and wife Reba of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania

Two step-sisters, Edith and Nellie.

She was preceded in death by a son-Jerry C. Reheard in 1995, a sister-Onnie Kifer and two brothers-Monroe Boothe and John Boothe.

Visitation on Monday, February 4th from 7 to 9 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania

Funeral services on Tuesday at 11 AM Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, 4263 Delta Road, Airville, PA 17302 with interment in the adjoining church cemetery.

Her pastor, Reverend James B. Shuler will officiate.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, John Reheard, Rich Reheard, Sam Reheard, Lee Reheard, Matt Reheard and Jerry Nalls.
