RALPH C. BRINDLE, age 70 years of Pylesville, MD died at his home at 8:03 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. He was the husband of Margaret E. Brindle. They observed their 51st. wedding anniversary on July 11, 2008.

Mr. Brindle was born in Baltimore on January 13, 1938 a son of the late Ralph N. and Dorothy O. (Bennett) Brindle. He and his wife moved to Pylesville from Dundalk in 1951 where he farmed for several years. A machinist by trade, he retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1989 after 29 years of service. He was a part time farmer and builder and loved to work with his hands. Mr. Brindle was a member of the Norrisville Seventh Day Adventist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children:

Ralph W. Brindle and his wife Cindy

Kathy Hogan and her husband Joe

Lisa Hedrick and her husband Mack, all of Pylesville

Also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael F. Brindle who died in 1987.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA

The service will be led by his granddaughter, Wendy Marie Fisher.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.

A viewing will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
