RALPH G. RUFF, JR., 66, of New Park, PA entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 13, 2018 in his home

surrounded by loved ones after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Linda

Mae (Jones) Ruff. They recently renewed their wedding vows and would have celebrated 48 years of marriage in September.

Born on June 8, 1951, York PA, he was a son of the late Ralph Gilbert Ruff, Sr. and Mertha Emma (Cooper)

Ruff. Over the years, Ralph took great pride in all of his craftsmanship, worked various construction jobs and

enjoyed fixing up things around his home. A love for old western shows, Ralph listened to bluegrass and old

school country music. He also enjoyed cooking and eating homemade food with his family.

Ralph was easily identified to all by the twinkle in his eye, his suspenders and his long luxurious beard (which

was always a topic of conversation). Ralph was blessed with a large and loving family. "He was a strong man

and will live in our hearts forever."

Ralph was looking forward to becoming a "great pee paw" to a great grandson in July.

Many nieces and nephews have childhood memories that include their Uncle Ralph. Lifelong friends and

extended family share in the loss.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Ruff.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main

Street, Delta PA 17314 followed immediately by a graveside service at Fawn Grove Cemetery, Fawn Grove,

PA officiated by Pastor James A. Baldwin. Funeral staff will be assisting with parking and handicap needs

during the viewing and graveside service.
