Ralph P. Parthree, age 75 years of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 in his home.

Mr. Parthree was born on June 16, 1931 a Delta, Pennsylvania a son of the late Guy and Mary (Barton) Parthree. He served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. Ralph was a dairy farmer and operated the South Hampton Farm in Bel Air, Maryland for many years. He worked as a mechanic with S&G Concrete for 16 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Slate Ridge American Legion Post #182 in Whiteford, Maryland and John S. Murphy VFW Post #7130 in Delta.

He is survived eight children:

Terry Hendrix of Harrisonburg, Virginia

Sandy Amoss of Longview, Texas.

Many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three children- Billy Joe Taylor, Cary G. Hendrix and Donna Hendrix

He was preceded in death by four brothers- Roland, Harold and Myron Parthree and Weldon Van Hart.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, March 31 at 11 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9-11 AM.

Reverend Judy L. Walker of Delta United Methodist Church will officiate

Burial will be at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.
