RALPH G. PUCKETT, age 77 years of Pylesville, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. He passed on peacefully with his beloved wife, Sally and good friend, Bonnie O'Shaughnessy at his side. Ralph was a lifelong resident of Harford County and had been married to his loving wife for nearly 54 years.

Mr. Puckett was born in Darlington, Maryland to Walter G. and Zita Lee (Halsey) Puckett on July 28, 1933. He began his career working for Wiley's Manufacturing before owning and operating a dump truck service for five years. Ralph also worked for Hexcel, Lee's and Montgomery Ward. Mr. Puckett refinished and restored antique furniture from 1967 to 2000.

In retirement, he loved planting flowers and working with his ten acres of land. He will be sorely missed by his devoted wife.

Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie whom he loved very much and his brother, Donald L. Puckett.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, the 17th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Edward A. Hanawalt of Providence Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach, Virginia officiating.

Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, Maryland.
