RICHARD BRUCE HORNICK of Delta, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 in his home. Richard was the beloved husband of Joyce Marie (Miller) Hornick, and they had shared 46 years of marriage. One of two sons born to the late John Morris Hornick, Sr., and Dorothy (Thomas) Hornick, he had just celebrated his 70th birthday on April 21st.

Richard graduated in 1969 from Parkville High School and during his high school years, met and married the love of his life, Joyce. Working as an AV technician, he retired in 2013 with 38 years of dedication to Johns Hopkins Hospital and Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. A strong faith in God, he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Parish in Pylesville, MD and enjoyed caring for his "barnyard" animals. He enjoyed his daily cup of coffee with cream and sugar, always stirring to the left. He had a sharp wit, good sense of humor and enjoyed moments and holidays with his caring family.

His mother-in-law, Ruth Marie (Brown) Miller of Coudersport, PA

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Morris Hornick, Jr.
