RICHARD T. SOLTYSIAK, age 54 years, died on Thursday, December 20, 2012 in his home in Whiteford, MD. He was the husband of Susan C. (Taylor) Soltysiak with whom he had shared 33 years of marriage.

Born on October 6, 1958 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late James William and Delia Margaret (Downes) Soltysiak. Mr. Soltysiak was a 1977 graduate of Patterson High School in Baltimore and had moved to Harford County over 25 years ago. In 1983, he began working for Genstar (later known as LaFarge Redland Genstar) where was employed most of his career as a mechanic/welder and crane operator. He along with his wife, Susan were troop leaders for Boy Scout Troop #400 in Delta, PA.

Christopher M. Soltysiak of Vancouver, WA

He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy K. Soltysiak.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will be on Monday, the 24th at 9:30 a.m.

Deacon Phillip Sensechal of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, Pylesville, MD will officiate.

Interment will be held on Wednesday, December 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rock Spring Road, Bel Air, MD.
