ROBERT ALLEN ARNOLD, SR., 78 of Darlington, MD died on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loving family members. He was the beloved husband of Betty Ray (Roddam) Arnold, and they had just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on October 21.

Born on January 4, 1941 in Campbell Creek, WV, he was a son of the late Woodrow and Louise (Arnold) Arnold and had attended North Harford High School in Pylesville, MD. Robert was a very talented carpenter, building the family home as well as working for the nuclear power plants at Peach Bottom, Delta, PA and Salem, NJ. He loved animals and his cat, Booboo was always by his side. His family commented that he was a family man at heart. He was a dedicated husband, adored his children and grandchildren and looked forward each year to the family Christmas dinners and celebrations.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Allen Arnold, Jr. in May of 2015.
