Robert E. Bennington, age 75 years, of Whiteford, MD died at his home on Sunday, Feb. 28 surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Vickie (Eaton) Bennington. They were married for 46 years.

Bob was born on Jan. 31, 1935 at Whiteford, MD a son of the late Elmer H. and Sadie (Frasch) Bennington. He was a former employee at Delta Lumber for 32 years. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren. Bob was an avid hunter and spent many hours birdwatching and cooking.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 children- Lynnea Henning and her husband Gregory Measley of Fawn Grove, PA. Bridget DeVoe of Fawn Grove, PA and Darrick Bennington and his wife Stephanie of Airville, PA.

5 grandchildren - Jason Henning, Cole Measley, Carson and Aliza DeVoe, Madison Bennington.

10 siblings- Betty McCleary, Kenny Bennington, Patty Porch, Gary Bennington, Dawn Johnson, Philip Bennington, Larry Bennington, Dave Bennington, Linda Fox and Dennis Bennington.

Funeral service will be on Friday, March 5 at 11:00 AM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, Pa . Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 - 9 PM Thursday, March 4 and from 10-11 AM Friday.
