ROBERT E. SEXTON, age 77 years of Darlington, MD, died on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. He was the husband of Ethel Burchett Bowles Sexton and on Valentine's Day 2013, they celebrated 12 years of marriage.

Born on July 15, 1936 in Harford Co., MD, he was a son of the late Doughton Porter and Nannie Lee (Pennington) Sexton. An owner/operator, Mr. Sexton was a drywall installer working in Harford County. He was a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church.

Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

A sister, Emma Lou Testerman and her husband, David of Conowingo, MD

Four brothers-

Kyle Sexton and his wife, Joyce of Marion, VA

John Sexton and his wife, Evelyn of Darlington, MD

Richard Sexton and his wife, Lois of Darlington, MD

Jeffrey Sexton and his wife, Margie of Conowingo, MD

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred, Harold and Bruce Sexton and sister, Grace Sexton Blevins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31st from 6 to 9 p.m. at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, 3135 Dublin Road, Street, MD 21154.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p,m. at the church with interment in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
