ROBERT EUGENE STREETT, age 77 years of Street, MD, died on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was the husband of Shirley J. (Teague) Streett with whom he had shared 54 years of marriage.

Born on November 14, 1936 in York, PA, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Francis Kathryn (Wise) Streett. Mr. Streett enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1959 and served his country for 2 ½ years. For 30 years, he worked as a lineman for Baltimore Gas & Electric. From 1968 to 1979, Mr. Streett drove a late model stock car at area speedways and was a fan of NASCAR, especially driver, Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed wildlife and sitting on his front porch waving at passersby. He was known to be called "Popcorn."

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jim Wright of Carsins Run Baptist Church officiating.

Interment with military honors presented by the Maryland National Guard Honor Guard will be in Emory Cemetery, Street, MD.
