Robert William Holcomb, 81, of Fawn Grove, PA, died on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Pappus House Hospice, in York, PA. Robert was born to the late William Clinton Holcomb and Margaret Virginia (Myers) Holcomb in Baltimore, MD.

Robert will be remembered as a strong willed man and a hard worker. Robert was a loving man, who especially loved and cherished his family. Robert served in and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was a proud member of the Whiteford American Legion and the Delta Veterans of Foreign Wars. Robert also loved his many cats, especially Cocey, with whom he shared a special bond.

Robert is survived by three children: Judy Holcomb, of Virginia, Janice (Norman) Oals, of West Virginia, and Joyce Ann Dickerson, of Fawn Grove, PA. He is also survived by two sisters: Barbara Sizer, Elizabeth Holcomb, and one brother, Charlie Holcomb. His three grandchildren, Theresa, Kyle and Chelsie, and five great-children will forever cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by three sisters, Barbara Gray, Irene Ledford and Patricia Kiethley.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Pastor Mark A. Rudd, of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church will be officiating.
