ROBERT LEE HENNING, II, age 51 years, died on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in his home in Delta, PA. Born on November 11, 1964 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of Robert Lee Henning of Sunrise, FL and the late Jacqueline (Riggs) Henning.

A master electrician, Robert began his electrical career at the age of 16 helping his Uncle Walt Henning. He was an avid hunter, great fisherman and outdoorsman, . Passionate about farming, Robert planted a large garden each year and was known for his potato crop. He loved dogs, especially his Bernese Mountain Dogs. Robert appreciated the American Indian culture collecting pottery and arrowheads. He was proud to be an American, and was a believer in the United States Constitution. Known as a loving husband and father; Robert will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. Mrs. Marie L. Sipler of Harkins Funeral Home will be the celebrant.

A time of visitation and refreshments will follow the service at the Slate Ridge Post #182, American Legion, 2217 Whiteford Road, Whiteford, MD 21160
