ROBERT LEO PHILLIPS, JR., 70 of Delta, formerly of Baltimore, MD, died in his home on Friday, December 16, 2022. Married for 47 years, he was the beloved husband of Margaret Ann (Smith) Phillips.

Born on December 5, 1952 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Robert Leo Phillips and Janice (Watson) Phillips and was a 1970 graduate of Kenwood High School. Bob was an avid reader, loved history, followed the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles and had recently brought home a new puppy named Duncan. He also enjoyed his pond and fishing; his family expressed that he will be deeply missed.

Bob was first employed for Mars Super Markets as a stock boy in 1970 and rose through the ranks to a direct buyer for the store. With 46 years of service, he retired in 2016. He then worked for Acosta and was currently employed with Advantage- a subcontractor with McCormick Spice Company of Baltimore, Maryland.
