Obituary

ROBERT T. SCOTT, age 74 years, of Forest Hill, Maryland died at Lorien at Bel Air on Sunday, November 8, 2009. He was the husband of Sandra Cochran Scott and they had shared 24 years of marriage.

Born on July 1, 1935 in Delta, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Paul R. and Anna (Price) Scott. He had moved to the Forest Hill area approximately eleven years ago, having lived most of his life in Delta. He was a member of the Delta United Methodist Church.

A member of the Teamsters Union, Mr. Scott had worked as a truck driver for 30 years for Conaco, Incorporated. He also taught truck driving at Cecil Community College for 10 years.

Bob enjoyed attending the Ironbirds minor league baseball games, NASCAR, and pro baseball and football games. He was a lifetime member of the Delta-Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company and a charter member of the Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company.

Three stepchildren:

James P. Wilson and his wife, Sheila of Red Lion, Pennsylvania

Timothy A. Wilson and his wife, Donna of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania

Brian L. Wilson and his wife, Linda of Delta, Pennsylvania

Six grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Kilgore Scott, his daughter, Tracey M. Price, and siblings Richard P. Scott, Curtis Scott, Helen Dowd and Ruth Helton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 5 to 8 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Reverend James B. Shuler of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, Airville, Pennsylvania.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Airville.
