ROBERT L. WILSON, age 77 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania died on Monday, September 28, 2009 at the Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center in Forest Hill, Maryland.

Born on October 26, 1931 in the Slate Hill area of Delta, he was a son of the late John B. and Lillian (Thompson) Wilson. He was a lifetime resident of Delta, a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and recipient of a Bronze Star. He was a member of the John S. Murphy Post #7130 VFW in Delta and the American Legion Post #182 in Whiteford, Maryland.

Working as a ship fitter, a mechanic and a welder, he had worked for the former Glen L. Martin Company, the former Wiley's Company of Port Deposit, Maryland and for Dixie Construction.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Sue Wilson in May of 1973, and siblings-William Wilson, George Wilson, Mary Morris and Roy Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st from 6 to 8 PM at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta.

Funeral services will be on Friday, the 2nd at 11 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania with military honors presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
