ROGER C. FARMER, age 66 years, of Airville, Pennsylvania died on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Fox Subacute in Warrington, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Patricia Ann (Burnum) Farmer who recently died on June 4, 2011.

Born on March 21, 1945 in Marin, Virginia, he was the son of Charles Clarence and Erma Ellen (Miller) Farmer. Mr. Farmer had worked as a lineman for various contractors, retiring in 1999 from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #70 of Washington, D.C. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and showing his chickens.

He is survived by:

Two sons - Charles C. Farmer of Airville, Pennsylvania and Fredrick W. Farmer and his fiancé Angela Blevins of Airville, Pennsylvania

One daughter - Teresa Lynn (Farmer) Bowling and her fiancé, David L. Henry of Windsor, Pennsylvania

Four grandchildren - Jeremy Charles Farmer, Karli May Farmer, Noah Isaac Farmer and Mason Storm Farmer

A brother, Elbert Wayne Farmer and his wife, Alice of Baltimore, Maryland

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Alfred Aliff, Sr., in 1996.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home,

600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Pastor John Waltermyer of Tabernacle Regular Baptist Church, Brogue, PA will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
