Ronald Lee Jones, 75, of North East, Maryland, passed away on August 24, 2026.

Born on November 3, 1950, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Ronald was the son of the late Russell T. Jones and Ada Jones (nee Seymour).

Ronald was the loving father of Christine M. Kovac and the proud grandfather of Aaron Dorn, Brandon Dorn, and Shelby Kovacs. Of all the titles Ronald held throughout his life, “Grandfather” was undoubtedly his favorite. His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart, and he took great pride in watching them grow and being part of their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his two brothers, Randy Jones and Rusty Jones.

Ronald was a man who enjoyed the things that brought him happiness and kept his hands and mind busy. He had a longtime appreciation for die-cast cars and model cars, enjoyed all things Harley-Davidson, and had a particular fondness for dragons. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors working in his yard, taking pride in caring for his home and property.

Those who knew Ronald will remember him through the many interests he enjoyed, the memories shared with family and friends, and especially through the family he loved so deeply.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral service celebrating Ronald’s life will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Slate Ridge Cemetery.

Ronald’s memory will continue through the stories shared, the things he loved, and most importantly, through the children and grandchildren who were such an important part of his life.
