ROSE MARIE McCARTER, age 81 years of Street, MD died on Sunday December 22, 2013 at Citizens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Havre de Grace, MD. She was the wife of the late Bernard McCarter.

Born on September 7, 1932 in Street, MD, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Mary Bertha (Cochran) Sparks and a member of Pleasant Home Regular Baptist Church in Airville, PA. A homemaker, she cared and loved everyone and was known to have a kind heart.

Eighteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral service will be held on Monday, the 30th at 11 a.m. Her pastor, Elder Rob Lins will officiate with interment in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
