ROY E. WREDE, age 68 years, of Airville, Pennsylvania died on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 11:45 p.m. at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Joan E. (Anderson) Wrede. On January 24, 2006 they celebrated their forty-seventh anniversary.

Mr. Wrede was born on January 10, 1938 in Kalmia, Maryland, a son of the late Frank G. Wrede, Sr. and Helen E. (Frederick) Wrede. He was a graduate of Kennard Dale High School in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania and was a longtime resident of Maryland. Mr. Wrede worked as an auto mechanic for the former Childs Chevrolet in Bel Air, Maryland for many years. Next, he worked for the Peach Bottom Atomic Plant in Delta, Pennsylvania for twelve years. He retired in 2000 and spent his final years in Airville with his loving wife, Joan.
