LIFE STORY PREPARED BY HER FAMILY-

Ruby "June" Bonham passed away peacefully on Friday September 3rd, 2021. She was born January 4th 1935 in Springdale West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Jacob Theodore and Ruby Myrtle Hanshew. June moved to Baltimore, and met her late husband Jack Bonham and lived nearly 50 years in their home in Darlington MD. She was active in her community and church and was faithful to God. In addition to being a housewife, and mother she lead a Girl Scout Troop and later on became a beautician and opened her own beauty shop: Berkley Beauty Boutique. She treasured the many friendships she had made and especially the comradery spent among her fellow quilters for the Wounded Warrior Project. June lived every day as if it was her last.

June is survived by her sister, Norma and husband, Vaughn Michael in Meadow Bridge WV. Her son, Kevin and wife, Nancy Bonham in Rising Sun MD. Her daughter, Jennifer and husband, Warren Dodge in Parkville MD.

Services are private and she will be laid to rest on Thursday September 9th, 2021 next her husband at the Darlington Cemetery in Darlington MD. Carol Burkindine, Certified Lay Minister of the Peach Bottom Charge will officiate.
