Ruby Sally (Wagoner) Poole, of Bel Air, passed away peacefully at Jacob's Well on October 6, 2025, at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Odell Poole, who preceded her in death on July 15, 2000.

Born on May 18, 1929, in Sparta, North Carolina, Ruby was the daughter of the late Reed Wagoner and Cora (Atwood) Wagoner. She dedicated her life to caring for her family as a homemaker and found joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life. Ruby particularly enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden, and her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren. Ruby was a woman of faith and was actively involved in the Delta Church of the Nazarene, Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church and Trinity Freewill Baptist Church.

Ruby is survived by her son, Allen Odell Poole and his wife, Rita, of Darlington. She also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her children, Frank Thomas Poole, Ruth Irene Holmes, Billy James Roger Poole, and William James Miller.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, is assisting the family with arrangements.
