RUBY POWERS MERVINE, age 89 years of Delta, PA, died on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of George W. Mervine who died in 2005.

Born on October 13, 1923 in Green Cove, VA, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Vina (Surver) Powers. Mrs. Mervine was an owner/operator working in food service. She enjoyed gardening and reading.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed immediately by the funeral service at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.

Reverend Tracy J. Duvall of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church will officiate with interment in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
