RUDY W. ROSS, age 49 years, of Forest Hill, Maryland, died on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. He was the husband of Amy (Gruver) Ross with whom he had shared 19 years of marriage.

Born on September 24, 1960 in Dublin, Maryland, he was a son of the late Roy Elmo and June R. (Dick) Ross. A lifetime Harford County resident, he was employed at the National Aquarium in Baltimore as an electrician. Rudy was a devoted father, lover of music, avid outdoorsman, jack of all trades and master jokester.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Betsy K. Ross who died in 1977.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening, December 21 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta with Pastor James Johnson of Dublin United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery.
