RUTH ANN DOWELL, age 69 years of Havre de Grace, MD died on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. She was the wife of Gerald Dowell and was preceded in death in March 2004 by her first husband, James William Dowell.

Born on October 6, 1944 in Havre de Grace, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Georgia (Bringar) Bringar. A lifetime resident of Harford County, she had worked for Kroh's Cleaners in Bel Air. MD. Mrs. Dowell enjoyed reading her Bible and knitting.

Charles Dowell, also of Havre de Grace

A sister, Wanda Gill and her husband, Kenneth of Street, MD

Seven grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and two nephews-Daniel and Joseph Dowell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th from 11 to 12 noon at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA followed immediately by the funeral service.

Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
