Obituary

Ruth A. "Annie" Paxton, 54, of Boyertown, PA, died at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Annie was the beloved wife of Erik Paxton also of Boyertown and the daughter of Edward and Ruth A. (Belcher) Bonham of Street, MD.

Annie spent her childhood and early adult life in Harford County, living in Boyertown, PA for the past three years after her and Erik were wed. After graduation from the Harford Technical High School, she continued her education with college courses and most recently worked as an Executive Secretary.

Annie prided herself in being a hard worker, helpful and a nurturing woman. She had a vivacious zest for life and loved spending time with family and friends, sharing a good laugh and one of her famous baked goods. A self-proclaimed "amateur genealogist", she was a history buff of historical sites and trains.

In addition to her husband and parents, Annie is survived by one son, Aaron R. Thalman, of Dundalk, MD and one step-daughter, Anna B. Berger. She is also survived by two brothers; Edward L. (Pauline) Bonham, Jr., of Street, MD and Kenneth Eugene (Cristina) Bonham of Davidson, NC. In addition, Annie will be forever remembered by a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 from 11 am-1 pm at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home; beginning promptly at 1 pm. Burial will take place following the funeral service in Dublin Southern Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
