Ruth Irene (Harvey) Rhodes, 91, of Downingtown, PA, died peacefully at home on Sunday, July 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born in Saxton, PA, to her late parents, James and Esther (Wilyes) Harvey. She was the beloved spouse of Arnold Wayne Rhodes, until his death on October 5, 2010.

Ruth was a devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She cherished any time that she was able to be with her family. Ruth spent her professional career as a supervisor for Pepperidge Farms. In her spare time she was an avid gardener, caring for both vegetables and flowers. She will be remembered for canning the vegetables which she grew in her gardens. She found great joy in hosting beautiful and bountiful holiday celebrations and meals, spending many hours in the kitchen preparing everyone's favorite food, especially her famous potato salad.

Ruth is survived by her children; Diane A. Keen, of Delta, PA, Arnold W. Rhodes and his wife Laura, of Downingtown, PA, and Sue Casadonti and her husband Michael, of Gap, PA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren. In addition she is survived by her siblings, Donald Harvey, Robert Harvey, Fred Harvey, Paul Harvey and Mary Riggins.

In addition to her husband and parents, Ruth was predeceased by her daughter Naomi Fidler, her granddaughter Mindy Rhodes, her grandson Gage Towber and her siblings, Patricia Sload and Gary Harvey.
