Sandra Jean Hamilton, 71, of Street, MD, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was born to the late Roy and Glady G. (Overbay) Parks in Fallston, MD. She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth and together they have shared 53 years of marriage.

Sandra spent her life making her home a wonderful and loving environment for her husband and family. She could often be found tending to flowers or watching the birds around their home. She was especially fond of hummingbirds. She and Kenneth loved to travel, even short distances to look at the sites. Her favorite place to travel to was the grocery store, where she could watch the shoppers coming in and out of the store.

In addition to Kenneth, Sandra is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Tammy) Hamilton, Jr., of North East, MD and Kevin (Amy Jones) Hamilton, of Strasburg, PA. Her grandchildren are Amy (Josh) Mayberry, Hunter (Hanna) Hamilton and Kenneth D. Hamilton. She is also survived by one great grandchild, Avery Mayberry. Siblings that survive Sandra include Wanda (Fred) Hooper, Freda Ray, Wilmer Parks and Douglas (Debbie) Parks.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her brother, David Parks.

A viewing will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 at the funeral home with Reverend Tracy J. Duvall officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air, MD.
