Sara Ann (Groves) Kennedy, 69, of Delta, PA, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Baltimore, MD, to her late parents, Herbert and Betty Jane Groves. Her loving husband of 38 years, William Robert Kennedy, Jr., survives at home.

Sara worked for many years as a manager in the restaurant industry. Most recently she worked in the front end at ShopRite in Whiteford, MD, where she enjoyed interacting with customers and making new friends. Sara will be remembered as a loving and loyal spouse. She was helpful and supportive to anyone who needed assistance. In her spare time, Sara enjoyed dining out with William and playing bingo with her friends on Wednesday evenings at the American Legion. She loved the Lord and enjoyed frequent time in prayer.

In addition to William at home, Sara is survived by her children; David Lee Kennedy and his wife Kristina, of Abingdon, MD, Robert Joseph Kennedy and his wife Jamie, of Abingdon, MD, Christine Marie Kennedy, of Edgewood, MD, and Jennifer Lynn Toledo and her husband Agustin, of Irving, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Iszac, Kaitlyn, Charlotte, Natalie, Marium and Gavin and one great grandchild, Khloee. In addition, one sister, Laura Wyatt of Abington, VA, survives.

In addition to her parents, Sara was predeceased by four brothers.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
