Sara Sue Munch, 85, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Bel Air, Maryland. She was born on October 22, 1940, in Darlington, Maryland, the daughter of the late Charles Edward Jackson and Alice Hopkins Davis Jackson.

Sara Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Kennah Nolan Munch; her parents; her brothers, David L. Jackson and Edward M. Jackson; and her stepdaughters, Patricia Ann Valentino, Kathleen Marie Suitt, and Sharon Ellen Bramble.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Jackson Tarbert; her brother, Charles W. Jackson; her son, Jeffrey Fentem; and her stepdaughter, Mary Constance Moore. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Emily Fentem, Susie O’Brien, Douglas Moore, and Christina Moore, as well as her great-grandson, Drake Lambert.

Sara Sue’s life will be remembered not only in the years she lived, but in the memories she leaves with those who loved her. Her family and those who knew her will carry those memories with them, remembering the ways she made their lives a little brighter simply by being a part of them.

Sara Sue’s family will gather privately to celebrate her life and share the memories that made her so special to them. Wagner-Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
