SARAH FRANCES SADLER, age 66 years, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, formerly of White Hall, Maryland, died on Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She was the wife of Ralph Sadler, and they observed their forty-sixth wedding anniversary on June 16, 2007.
Mrs. Sadler was born on March 22, 1942 in Peach Bottom Township, Pennsylvania; she was a daughter of the late William Lowell and Bonnie Sue (Bedwell) Burris. She had lived most of her lifetime in Maryland where she was a member of New Life Christian Center in Street, Maryland.
Mrs. Sadler was very involved with the "Helping Up Mission" in Baltimore, Maryland where she supplied food and clothing for the homeless for many years. Mrs. Sadler was always willing to help others.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
A son, Tony Sadler of Street, Maryland
A grandchild, Kristen Bennett of Triangle, Virginia
Three step-grandchildren and five step great grandchildren
Three brothers living in Harford County, Maryland.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2007 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with her son, Reverend Anthony Sadler and Pastor Michael Stiffler of the Apostolic Life Center of Baltimore, Maryland officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Delta, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Life Christian Center, 3214 Conowingo Road, Street, MD 21154.
Pallbearers will be: Brandon Stiffler, Mark Cockerham, Ernest Sadler, Ralph Sadler, Joseph Burris and David Cleary.
