Sarah E. Yost, age 88 years of York, PA, formerly of Bel Air, MD , Delta, PA and Fremont, Ohio died on January 1, 2010 at York Hospital, York, PA. She was the wife of the late Norman D. Yost Sr.

Mrs. Yost was born on July 29, 1921 in Henry County, Kentucky a daughter of the late John and Mary (Gillispie) Slattery. She was a graduate of the class of 1939 at Fremont Ross High School. Mrs. Yost was a member of the Mason Dixon Homemakers. She was well known for her quality knitting and crocheting .

She is survived by -

Sons- Norman D. Yost Jr of Street, MD. - Thomas H. Yost of Fremont, Ohio

Joseph L. Yost of Fawn Grove, PA

Daughter- Teresa E. Yost of Havre de Grace, MD

8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 11 AM at St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1021 St. Mary's Road, Pylesville, MD. Visitation with the family will be from 10-11 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's of the Assumption Building Fund, 1021 St. Mary's Rd., Pylesville, MD 21132

Burial will be in Fremont, Ohio at a later date.
